IEU POLICY FRAMEWORK

Governance and delegated authority

Oversight, academic decision rights, delegated responsibilities and records.

Purpose

Set a clear framework for institutional oversight and accountable decisions.

Legal entity supplied by owner

IEU UK EDU LTD · UK company number 17524848 · Private Limited by Shares · Companies House submission number 119-696200. The company name and number are confirmed in the Companies House public register, checked 16 October 2026. The certificate of incorporation and memorandum were supplied by the owner. Company incorporation alone does not establish authority to operate a university, enroll learners, award qualifications, or represent a partner.

Proposed structure

A proposed governing body oversees direction and risk. An Academic Council advises on academic quality, program approval and learning standards. The President or Rector implements decisions within documented authority.

Partnership decision gate

Before signing, document the partner’s exact legal identity and authority; the agreement term and termination route; permitted name, logo and public statements; curriculum ownership, review, validation and change control; teaching, assessment and student-support responsibilities; data protection and cross-border transfers; complaints, safeguarding and insurance; student records and teach-out; fees and refunds; and dispute handling. Record legal review and the authorized company signatory. A curriculum dossier or meeting alone is not a partnership agreement.

Academic decision gate

Maintain an Academic Council or equivalent independent academic approval route separate from commercial contracting. Every program requires an approved specification, course map, learning outcomes, assessment and moderation plan, entry and progression rules, workload and credit model, delivery and practice requirements, staffing, student handbook, award authority and periodic-review owner before it may be advertised or opened.

Approval controls

No program, fee, award, partnership, policy or public institutional claim becomes effective until the authorized body records its approval and owner. Keep the legal company separate from academic decision rights; record the company’s role, contracting authority, conflicts and reserved matters.

Records and review

Maintain a decision register, conflicts-of-interest declarations, policy versions and meeting records. Escalate material academic, legal, financial or learner-safety risks. HMRC corporation-tax correspondence remains pending according to the owner.

Policy notice: This page summarizes a proposed framework and is not an active institutional policy or student procedure. A policy applies only when formally adopted and published by the authorized body. Cross-border and regulated activity requires local legal review.
