Prevention

Define learner eligibility, staff conduct, online meeting safeguards, reporting pathways and partner responsibilities before activities begin.

Response

Assign a trained safeguarding lead, document concerns securely, assess immediate risk and follow applicable local duties. Explain the limits of confidentiality.

Online partnerships

Any local partner needs written responsibilities, required staff screening, incident reporting and escalation arrangements.
